This fragment of the chronicle of Father Augustine describes a Lima hard to imagine. There are no documentary records that indicate who coined the phrase "Lima, garden city", but written like this are evidence of what existed.
Today, the city has grown to the point that we cement with 1.98 m2 of green area per capita, compared with 9 m2 recommend Organization World Health (WHO) and others, and its congested streets emanate carbon dioxide (CO2).
To counter this, the municipalities are trying to plant trees and planting flowers or grass, but, often, blindly .
