TORONTO - Rudy Gay scored the final basket Monday night less than a second on the clock, while Zach Randolph had 17 points and 12 rebounds in the triumph of the Memphis Grizzlies 100-98 over the Toronto Raptors.
Gay scored 21 points, the English had 17 Marc Gasol, OJ Mayo added 15 points and Mike Conley 13 for the Grizzlies, who won their third straight, their longest winning streak of the season.
The Venezuelan Greivis Vasquez made one of two shots from the field to score two points in 12:22 minutes and registered two rebounds, three assists and a foul. Andrea Bargnani scored
DeMar DeRozan 29 points and had 25 for the Raptors, whose losing streak - their longest in the campaign - was extended to eight games. The Raptors have lost five straight against the Grizzlies.
The Toronto losing streak is the longest since they dropped 10 games from March 26 to April 12, 2006.
Jerryd Bayless had 15 points and established a career high with 11 assists and eight rebounds for the Raptors, who are lacking staff. Julian Wright had 11 points and nine rebounds, and Amir Johnson had 10 points.
